Off the Block to present inaugural Erik Shoji Award in 2016
A national award for liberos that is named in honor of a four-time All-American will be introduced to college men’s volleyball this upcoming season.

Ohio State adds three highly touted high school players
A member of the U.S. Boys’ Youth National Team and two all-state high school players have committed to play at Ohio State.
Ohio State announced during the weekend that high school seniors Reese Devilbiss, Jake Hanes and Andrew Hillman each signed national letters of intent to join the Buckeyes beginning in 2017. (more…)

Ball State signs multiple all-state high school players
A high school state player of the year along with three all-state players will play for Ball State in the upcoming seasons.
Ball State coach Joel Walton announced during the weekend that high school seniors Blake Reardon, Courtland Scharenborg, Spencer Smith and Matt Szews each signed national letters of intent to join the Cardinals beginning in 2017. (more…)

All-conference high school player commits to McKendree
An in-state all-conference high school player will join the newest MIVA member McKendree in the upcoming seasons.
McKendree coach Nickie Sanlin announced during the weekend that high school senior Ethan Carroll has committed to play for the Bearcats starting in 2017. (more…)

Loyola growing mustaches to raise money, awareness for cancer research
The two-time defending NCAA champions are once again helping lead the effort to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research.
Loyola recently announced it is participating in the annual Movember event by having players grow mustaches throughout November and online crowdsourcing for donations for cancer research. (more…)

UCLA, Ball State agree to non-conference match in 2016
The two programs with the most wins in college men’s volleyball history will meet each other in non-conference play for the first time in five years.
