    Listen to Off the Block’s interview with Lewis coach Dan Friend about the Flyers’ start to the preseason and creating the Rae Strong Foundation.

    The non-profit organization provides financial and emotional support to families who have premature babies born 14 or more weeks before their due date. The group that Friend and his wife, the Lewis women’s volleyball head coach, founded during the offseason is name after their 1-year-old daughter who was born premature. (more…)

    One of the toughest road environments in college men’s volleyball awaits Ball State during the opening weeks of the upcoming season.

    Almost 40 years since starting its program and there is still a first with the lastest Purdue Fort Wayne schedule.

    Purdue Fort Wayne for the first time in its program history will descend upon The Farm as it will play a two-match road non-conference against Stanford on Jan. 25-26. (more…)

  • Purdue Fort Wayne Associate AD named to NCAA men’s volleyball committee

    A former college men’s volleyball setter and college volleyball coach will help determine the NCAA Tournament field in 2019.

    Tim Heffron, the Purdue Fort Wayne senior associate athletic director, was selected as the Midwest representative for the NCAA men’s volleyball committee, according to documents the NCAA recently released on its website. (more…)
