The Midwest and East Coast have the majority of top matches tonight, but the spotlight will be on the West Coast for another match-up between two top-five nationally ranked teams.
No. 1 BYU and No. 4 Long Beach State will play each other in a match that could not only have big implications in the conference standings but in the race for the lone at-large spot to the NCAA Tournament. The playoffs are about a month way but postseason positioning is on the line tonight in college men’s volleyball.

With conference tournaments less than one month away, Off the Block will begin its weekly bracketology projecting the men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament bracket.
The men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament is comprised of four teams. Automatic bids are awarded to the winners of the EIVA, MIVA and MPSF conference tournaments, and the NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Committee chooses one team for an at-large bid.
