The top four indoor men’s volleyball teams in each pool at the end of the pool-play stage will advance to the quarterfinals of the Olympic tournament. The fifth and sixth-place teams will be eliminated from the tournament. In the event that two or more teams have the same records at the end of the pool-play stage, the tiebreakers will be match points, then set win-loss record, then point differential and finally head-to-head results.
