Penn State big block performance leads to EIVA title

In a season that at times seemed untypical for No. 7 Penn State it had a typical achievement: winning the EIVA regular season title.

Top college men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

The postseason picture and conference tournament brackets have a chance to get further solidified with several critical matches tonight.

No. 11 Ohio State and No. 14 IPFW will play each other in a late-season conference match with both teams needing a victory a improve their postseason seeding. Video: No. 7 BYU sweeps No. 13 CSUN to snap losing streak

Opposite Matt Underwood had a team-high 13 kills and five blocks as No. 6 BYU swept No. 13 CSUN 28-26, 25-21, 25-15 on Friday in Northridge, California.

Top college men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

Only a few weeks until the postseason and several matches today could go a long way to determining the conference tournament fields.

No. 6 BYU and No. 13 CSUN will open a two-match weekend series with both teams facing a near must-win situation for completely different reasons.
