All-American outside attacker TJ DeFalco picked up right where he left off last season.
The 2016 AVCA Newcomer of the Year had a match-high 13 kills as No. 4 Long Beach State swept Quincy 25-17, 25-15, 25-21 on Saturday to finish undefeated at the UCSB Asics/South Coast Inn-vitational.

It took five games and a combined 42 overtime points throughout the match but Quincy was able to upset a nationally ranked team for the first time since 2012.
Quincy had a match-high .467 attack percentage in the decisive fifth game as it beat No. 14 Ball State 29-27, 25-18, 35-37, 28-30, 15-9 on Saturday in Quincy, Illinois.
