Opposite Evan Cory delivered his biggest offensive performance of the season to help Lincoln Memorial win its first championship in program history.
The All-Independent Team sophomore finished with a season-high 26 kills on a .314 attack percentage as Lincoln Memorial beat Coker 25-21, 24-26, 32-30, 23-25, 15-10 in the IVA Tournament finals on Saturday in Philippi, West Virginia.

A nationwide voting committee selected eight college men’s volleyball players to the Off the Block All-Independent Team that was unveiled Wednesday.
The All-Independent Team recognizes the best players during the regular season from NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams that are competing without a conference affiliation. The four independent teams this season are Alderson Broaddus, Coker, Lincoln Memorial and Queens.
