McKendree’s Francisco Comas, Lincoln Memorial’s Evan Cory, Barton’s Oscar Fiorentino, George Mason’s Jack Reese, Grand Canyon’s Cole Udall and Purdue Fort Wayne’s Pelegrin Vargas all advanced to the championship round of the Off the Block National Player of the Month.

Grand Canyon outside attacker Camden Gianni months after undergoing heart surgery is hoping to return the to a volleyball court if he passes all his medical evaluations in the upcoming months.
Gianni said in an interview with Off the Block senior contributor Brandon Johnson on Sunday that he will have stress tests in April and July that will determine when he can begin playing volleyball again.

A redshirt freshman who came off the bench and led Grand Canyon to back-to-back upsets is earning a national award for the first time in his college career.
Off the Block announced Monday that Grand Canyon setter Tanner Petchul was selected as the Off the Block National Freshman of the Week.

A Grand Canyon freshman outside attacker is in stable condition following a medical emergency.
The university announced Thursday that Camden Gianni during a team practice on Dec. 28 required immediate medical attention and was taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosis with a heart condition.

Off the Block announced Thursday that Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, will be the host site for the Off the Block Grow the Game Challenge on Jan. 18-20.

Setter Chandler Gibb showed exactly why he was an All-MPSF selection.
Gibb guided the Concordia-Irvine offense to a .318 attack percentage and had a match-high eight blocks to sweep Grand Canyon 25-20, 25-21, 25-23 in the MPSF Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday in Irvine, California.
