George Mason, Fort Wayne players make Puerto Rico roster for 2017 tournaments

Two all-conference college men’s volleyball players will be a part of the Puerto Rico National Team for two upcoming international tournaments.

Puerto Rico announced earlier this week that George Mason setter Brian Negron and Fort Wayne outside attacker Pelegrin Vargas were selected to its roster for the Pan American Cup and NORCECA Continental Championship. Candidates to consider for new MIVA Hall of Fame

More than 50 years as a conference can create quite a pool of worthy candidates for a new Hall of Fame.

The MIVA recently announced that it established the MIVA Hall of Fame with the inaugural class scheduled to be inducted later this year. Below is a list of all the players, coaches and contributors who have a case for Hall of Fame consideration based on their multiple First-Team All-MIVA selections, MIVA Player of the Year honors or additional outstanding performances. Video: UC Santa Barbara offense rolls in sweep of Fort Wayne

Outside attacker Jacob Delson had a match-high 16 kills as No. 12 UC Santa Barbara swept Fort Wayne on Saturday to go undefeated at its annual home tournament the UCSB ASICS/South Coast Inn-vitational.
