Top college men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

Multiple teams have an opportunity tonight to pull off monumental upsets.

Concordia-Irvine playing host to No. 14 Stanford highlights the slate of matches tonight as the Eagles attempt to get their first win against a NCAA Division I-II nationally ranked team. Stanford adds Concordia, Holy Names to 2015 schedule

The team that was one match away from winning the national championship last year will play three non-conference matches against emerging NCAA Division I-II programs next season.

Stanford as part of unveiling its 2015 regular season announced that it will have a home match versus Holy Names and play a home-and-home series against Concordia-Irvine.

Harvard, Concordia among teams to compete in 2015 Morgan Classic

Concordia-Irvine in the midst of transitioning to NCAA Division II membership will have a chance to defend its title at one of the most prestigious annual college men’s volleyball tournaments.

The 2015 Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic field will feature the host school Springfield along with Concordia-Irvine, Harvard and Rivier, Springfield coach Charlie Sullivan said in a recent interview with Off the Block.
