Loyola’s Jendryk helps U.S. power past Dominican Republic

Loyola middle attacker Jeff Jendryk stepped up with several of his teammates sick to help get the United States into the Pan American Cup quarterfinals.

Jendryk had a match-high four blocks and added nine kills as the United States defeated Dominican Republic 25-20, 25-23, 26-28, 25-17 on Thursday in Mexico City to finish group play undefeated at the continental tournament. Continue reading

BYU, LBSU, Loyola players to compete for U.S. in Pan Am Cup

Five college men’s volleyball players will be on the U.S. roster for an upcoming continental tournament.

USA Volleyball announced Thursday that BYU outside attackers Brenden Sander and Jake Langlois, Long Beach State outside attacker TJ DeFalco and setter Joshua Tuaniga and Loyola middle attacker Jeff Jendryk were selected to play for the United States at the Pan American Cup. Continue reading
