No. 7/8 Pepperdine earned their second conference win of the year on Wednesday night when they defeated No. 5/5 USC in five games in Malibu, California. The Waves had three players with at least 15 kills – opposite Jaylen Jasper, outside attacker Jacob Steele, and outside attacker Spencer Wickens. Pepperdine setter Bryce Dvorak set career-highs with eight blocks and six aces. For the Trojans, outside attacker Sam Kobrine led all players with 20 kills, while middle attacker Liam Schroeder had 10 kills on a .600 attack percentage to go along with eight blocks.
