Video: Princeton coach discusses loss to USC in team’s first match back

Princeton playing in its first match since 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic lost to No.12 USC 35-33, 25-22, 25-20 on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Despite the loss, Princeton out-hit USC .295 to .222 and had a match-best .400 attack percentage in its second-game loss. Outside attacker Ben Harrington also led the Tigers with 13 kills, while outside attacker Nate Thompson added 10 kills on a .529 attack percentage.

Princeton, though, committed 23 service errors and had one ace in its season opener — 11 more errors and four fewer aces than USC.
