What to know: The ConfCarolinas Coach of the Decade will go up against his former assistant coach in the opening round of the ConfCarolinas Tournament. Bullock is in her third season as the Lees-McRae women’s volleyball head coach and her first full season as the men’s volleyball head coach. Lees-McRae under Bullock last month upset Belmont Abbey, which ended the ConfCarolinas season in second place, and almost upset the ConfCarolinas regular season champion Mount Olive. King concluded its regular season with back-to-back sweeps against Lees-McRae, including holding the Bobcats to a zero attack percentage in the regular season finale on Tuesday. Outside attacker Aleksa Lakic in the victory finished with a match-high 14 kills on a .393 attack percentage and added two aces. Lakic leads Emmanuel with a 3.82 kills per game average and is one of two Lions in the conference’s top 10 for kills. Don Thompson, who plays a hybrid middle attacker and opposite position, is 10th in the ConfCarolinas averaging 3.35 kills per game.
