Concordia-Irvine reverse swept No. 7/7 UCLA on Saturday night in Irvine, California, giving the Eagles the first win in program history over the Bruins. Concordia-Irvine used their strong serving (10 aces overall) to yield UCLA to a .174 attack percentage in the final three games, after the Bruins hit .407 in the first two games. Conversely, Concordia hit . 275 in the first two games, while hitting .345 in the final three games. Outside attacker Jordan Hoppe matched a program-best six aces, while middle attacker Jesper Schut had 10 kills on a .600 attack percentage.
