The coronavirus pandemic is already altering the college men’s volleyball schedule for multiple teams in different regions.

Both USC and Lees-McRae postponed their upcoming matches on Monday because of confirmed coronavirus cases within the programs.

USC announced it has suspended all team activities and postponed its first three matches, including its season opener against UCLA on Saturday. The other postponed events are a home match versus Pepperdine that was slated for Feb. 4 and a road match against Grand Canyon scheduled for Feb. 6.

The Trojans along with the rest of the MPSF are playing conference-only schedules for the 2021 season. The MPSF will work with all four schools to reschedule these matches during the upcoming season.

Along with USC, Tusculum announced its non-conference match versus Lees-McRae on Tuesday has been postponed due to Lees-McRae having a positive case.

The two schools have not determined a date to make-up the non-conference match.
