There will be no matches for the U.S. Men’s Collegiate National Team to play this year, but that did not stop USA Volleyball from formally unveiling a roster.

Sixteen players were selected on Tuesday to the team that will be prevented from playing together because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Stanford led all schools with four players making the U.S. roster, while Belmont Abbey had two players named to the team. Charleston, Harvard, Lewis, Loyola, Pepperdine, Sacred Heart and USC each also have one representative on the team.

Along with these NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball schools, a player from the NCAA Division III school Carthage and players from the NAIA schools Menlo and Grand View were selected to the team.

College players participated in a virtual tryout to make this team that included submitting their game film and stats to the USA Volleyball selection committee.
