Highlights: USC defeats CSUN in five games

USC overcame a one-game deficit to defeat CSUN in five games on Friday in Northridge, California.

The Trojans needed several match points to finally put away the Matadors in the fifth game and they attacked .524 in the decisive game.

Off the bench, USC got 16 kills from Billy Fauntleroy and 10 kills from Brandon Browning. USC middle attackers Vecas Lewin and Sam Lewis combined for 19 kills on 31 errorless swings.


USC setter Chris Hall had 61 assists to help the Trojans snap their six match losing streak.

The Matadors had four players with double-digit kills, led by Maciej Ptaszynski’s 18 kills.
