The Division II National Player of the Year is given to the nation’s best player on a NCAA Division II men’s volleyball team during the regular season. A nationwide voting committee of coaches and media members select the winner of the award.
A voter can select up to three players on their Division II National Player of the Year ballot with a first-place vote worth three points, a second-place vote worth two points and a third-place vote valued at one point. The top three vote-getters are named finalists, and the player receiving the most votes is the recipient of the Division II National Player of the Year.
