All-Tournament Team announced at 2018 Grow the Game Challenge

Off the Block announced on Sunday afternoon the All-Tournament Team for the 2018 Grow the Game Challenge.

Players were selected based on their performances during the three-day non-conference tournament that took place in Nashville during the weekend.

Evan Cory, Lincoln Memorial
Cory had a team-high 10 kills and an ace in a three-game loss to McKendree on Saturday. He also had a team-high 11 kills on a .380 attack percentage in a loss to No. 4 Hawai’i on Sunday

Brandon Greenway, Charleston
Greenway finished with both a match-high 13 kills and 13 digs along with four blocks in a sweep against Erskine on Saturday. He also had eight kills and a match-high six blocks in a four-game victory against Limestone on Friday.

Aston King, Grand Canyon
King had five kills while hitting a perfect 1.000 percent and added a match-high three aces in a sweep against North Greenville on Friday. He also had six kills on a .556 attack percentage and a team-high four blocks in a three-game loss to No. 4 Hawai’i on Sunday.

Wilfredo Rivera, Barton
Rivera had a match-high 13 digs in a near-upset against No. 4 Hawai’i on Saturday. The libero also had five digs in a three-game loss to Lindenwood on Sunday.

Brendan Schmitt, McKendree
Schmitt finished with nine kills on a .800 attack percentage and a match-high four blocks in a sweep against Lincoln Memorial. He also had a tournament-high seven blocks along with nine kills on a .538 attack percentage in a four-game victory against Limestone.

Sam Schindler, Lindenwood
Schindler had a match-high four blocks and added seven kills on a .667 attack percentage in a sweep against North Greenville. He also had five kills and zero attack errors on a .625 attack percentage in a sweep against Erskine on Friday

Nathan Van Dellen, Lindenwood
Van Dellen had a team-high 11 kills on a .364 attack percentage as Lindenwood defeated North Greenville in the Battle for the MAFIAoZA’S Brass Knuckles Pizza. He also contributed 10 kills, seven digs and five blocks in a sweep against Barton on Sunday.

Stijn van Tilburg, Hawai’i
van Tilburg had a match-high 14 kills on a .407 attack percentage as No. 4 Hawai’i defeated No. 13 Grand Canyon on Sunday. He also had eight kills while hitting .583 in limited playing time to help Hawai’i beat Barton in four games on Saturday.

Joe Worsley, Hawai’i
Worsley had a match-high 40 assists and guided the Hawai’i offense to a.409 attack percentage in a sweep against No. 13 Grand Canyon on Sunday. He also helped Hawai’i hit more than .300 and added three blocks in a victory against Barton on Sunday.
