Quick hits: College men’s volleyball players’ performances in World League

TJ DeFalco | United States | Long Beach State
DeFalco started two of the United States’ three matches during the weekend and had a combined 14 kills. The 2017 AVCA National Player of the Year making his World League debut finished with seven kills and four digs in a four-game loss to Serbia on Friday.

Jeff Jendryk | United States | Loyola
Jendryk came off the beach and had seven kills along with a team-high two aces in a five-game loss to Canada on Saturday. The All-American middle attacker also contributed nine kills as the United States lost to Belgium in four games on Sunday.

Miki Jauhiainen | Finland | BYU
Jauhiainen coming off the bench as a serving specialist had one kill on his only attack attempt in a four-game loss to the Czech Republic on Saturday. That was the middle attacker’s only appearance in Finland’s three World League Group 2 losses during the weekend.

Alex Harthaller | Austria | Pepperdine
Harthaller did not play any of Austria’s matches during the weekend as it went 2-1 to begin World League play.
