OTB, Springbak launches Olympic men’s volleyball bracket challenge

The Olympic men’s volleyball quarterfinals are set and your brackets can now be filled out for a chance to win a prize-pack from Springbak, Inc.

Off the Block announced Wednesday night that it will award the prize-pack to the participant of the Off the Block/Springbak Olympic Bracket Challenge who successfully predicts the most match winners during the knock-out stage of the indoor men’s volleyball tournament.

Eight teams advanced out of the pool-play stage and earned berths to the quarterfinals that will begin Wednesday in Rio. The quarterfinal matches feature the United States versus Poland, Canada versus Russia, Italy versus Iran and Brazil playing host to Argentina.


Bracket challenge participants can fill out their bracket online at challonge.com or at the bottom of this post. Before filling out a bracket, individuals will be asked to create an account on Challonge. Creating an account on Challonge is free and takes less than a minute to complete.

The individual with the highest score and most correct match predictions will receive the prize-pack from Springbak, Inc.

In the event there are multiple perfect brackets, one contestant from the first-place brackets will be randomly selected for the prize. The winner will also be notified via their Challonge account.

This contest is organized by Off the Block and is not affiliated with USA Volleyball, the FIVB or the Olympics.

Brackets can be submitted up until the start of the first quarterfinal match at 8 a.m. (CST) Wednesday.
