  1. Wow, UCSD has never been a MPSF powerhouse….but they are really sucking up the court this year. 5 wins in ’11, 6 wins in ’12, 4 wins last year…but they’ll be doing good to win 1 or 2 this year.

    1. Young team, but they have a great coach. They’ll continue to get better throughout the season. Plus, the Tritons have been known to pull off one or two crazy upsets in March and April.

      1. True about the youth…plus they don’t have their best pin (Awerkamp) right now because of an injury. Eberts and Frishman graduated; Lennon transferred to UCSB; and I don’t know what happened to MB Brady. But they’ve lost good players to graduation before and had enough next year to at least be competitive. I still think 4 wins is going to be a real stretch at this point. They have one game left with Cal Baptist, two with Pacific…and after that, I just don’t know where the wins are going to come from.
