There will be a new look to the MIVA in the upcoming season.
The MIVA earlier this week as part of announcing its preseason coaches poll and preseason all-conference teams aslo unveiled its new conference logo
This is the first logo change for the conference in recent history.
Similar to old logo, the new MIVA logo features a volleyball and the conference initials written over the volleyball. In addition, the full name of the conference, Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, is still included in the logo and wraps around the volleyball.
The conference with its new logo also added blue to its red and white color scheme. Blue is primarily used as the background color used for the text wrapping around the volleyball.
In addition, the volleyball in the logo has been adjusted to look more like the volleyballs used in matches. As opposed to the old logo that just had a white volleyball, the new volleyball in the logo features red, blue and white stripes.
The MIVA founded in 1961 is the oldest college volleyball conference in the United States.
